Shanghai Yinong Biotechnology Co., Ltd. takes food safety as its responsibility and adheres to the philosophy of "conveying the beauty of biology and improving food safety and health". It has carried out in-depth joint research and development with scientific research institutions such as Fudan University, Jiangnan University, East China Normal University, Zhengzhou University, and Shanghai Ocean University. The company mainly researches, develops and produces microbial-derived biological preservatives, biological enzymes, plant extract antifreeze polysaccharides, biodegradable bacterial strains and other products, with technical research and development and industrial investment exceeding 100 million yuan. The company has applied for and been granted 10 invention patents, 26 utility model patents, 1 appearance patent, and 3 registered software copyrights. At present, R&D personnel account for 40% of the company's staff, among whom 80% hold master's or doctoral degrees.

The company's " Fermented Glucose Flour " series products have broken the international monopoly of food biological preservatives and realized domestic substitution.
